My two favorite bistros were La Maison Plamondon and Le Bouchon on my trip, with La Maison Plamondon providing an exquisite experience with impeccable service. While I found myself in awe at Le Bouchon – its exquisite ambiance paired with delicious food all contributed towards one unforgettable meal!

The Official Must-Eat Eatery: Jacques Viger Steakhouse

Jacques Viger is an unassuming steakhouse, yet its glory and reputation rest on the succulent cuts of meat they provide.

Their primary goal is to provide guests with a delicious meal with care and attention – which is why menus are created around the steaks that are offered. You’ll find them at three levels of price point; from $35-$70 for their ‘Classic’ option while those willing to splurge can enjoy their ‘Prime’; ranging anywhere between $80 – $210 for the ultimate in luxurious dining experience!

It’s no secret that visitors flock to this establishment during the night when it’s bustling and full of locals enjoying some fine dining. After consuming a hearty meal here, you will most certainly feel like part of the family!

Le Chantier Quebecois

Le Chantier Quebecois is an authentic French cuisine establishment in Old Quebec. This culinary establishment is renowned for its exceptional dishes and exquisite ambience.

The restaurant’s four-star rating has earned it special acclaim from locals and visitors alike; there are numerous accolades like ‘Top Restaurants – International’ and TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence.

If you’re seeking a bite to eat in Quebec City, Le Chantier is an enticing option for guests who want to savor traditional cuisine with a contemporary twist.
